Mission Statement
The purpose of North Torrance Youth Musicians Ensemble (“NTYME”) is to provide organizational, logistical and financial support to the North Torrance Symphony Orchestra, North Torrance Jazz Band, North Torrance String Orchestras, and North Torrance Wind Ensembles. NTYME accomplishes these purposes through parental participation in the instrumental music programs through planning, competition logistics and fundraising. NTYME’s success in these activities depends on the degree of communication, coordination and participation among all contributors.
NTYME, the director, and the youth musicians depend on each other’s strengths to perform effectively. An effective organization allows the director and the students to concentrate on the technical aspects of their performance.
